Starting at 10:00am – Monkey Tales Theatre is presenting “The Boy Who Snared The Sun” in the pavilion at Rabbit Run Park in St. Peters. This interactive, family-friendly show is a takeoff of a classic Native American fairy tale. After the performance, join the characters as you are led on a trail walk. Along the way there will be opportunities to identify native plants and animals. In addition, there will be three locations on the trail where participants will learn Native American crafts, activities and enjoy traditional dancing.

MISSION & PURPOSE:

Monkey Tales Theatre is a professional non-profit 501(c)(3) theatre group entertaining children of all ages through live stage performances. Monkey Tales Theatre performs stories with live performers, colorful costumes, engaging set designs, fun choreography, live music and audience interaction to teach valuable lessons on acceptance and responsibility.

VISION:

Monkey Tales Theatre will strive to entertain, educate and inspire audiences in a wide variety of venues. To reach a diverse audience, including needy and at-risk area youth, Monkey Tales Theatre will obtain corporate and individual sponsorship for our performances.
